more newbie nonsense. sorry CK5rs, but ive been lurkin a quite a bit and you guys know you rigs and i need some wisdom. i just purchased this fine machine about a month ago. its strictly a project/uav truck as my dd is a civic(hah). so my first purchase were tires, obviously. the saying "you gotta crawl b4 you can walk" doesnt apply to me, so i found a steal on some used 37" projects. i know re-geared axles and suspension work are my next priority so here in lies my question: what other problems will i incur with running these tires? any thoughts/ideas on what i should do next..? thanks!

gears and some kind of tranny work, even if it's just an additional cooler would be good

And 37s will snap your 10 bolts like nothing if you wheel hard which is the only way to do it :pimp:. You have contracted the most expensive virus known to man. Go look at blazinuks build to see how it ends :haha:

I couldn't find any threads by searching blazinuks, says it's an invalid user name?

thanks for the feedback gents. i will definitely start looking and saving for the axles and tranny work. one thing about the rims i am installing. i know i shouldve gone with 15"s, but i got 17"s and they need longer lug nuts in order to fit properly. i was going to get longer wheel studs, but a shop found that et (extra thread) lug nuts will do the trick. i've never heard of them, but they fit perfectly. has anybody used these or have swapped wheel studs? apparently stock wheel studs on 1987 and below are only 7/16x20x1.54. same size as my civics...
