Good evening. I have a 87 v10. The fuel tank wiring harness has fell into the driveshaft and destroyed the harness. It looks like a backlashed bait caster while fishing drunk.

Needless to say I need a good diagram or if somebody has one of these harnesses they would like to sell. Thanks!

Do yourself, the planet, and the universe a favor and shred or burn that chilton, haynes, or whatever that came out of. :haha:

Then treat yourself:

Now that I think about it, those "typical" (lol, typical, except for exactly what you are working on) diagrams are probably the one reason so many PO's butcher the electrical in these trucks.

lol...its a Haynes, gives the basics. I looked in my 88 service manual but could not find the detailed schematics for that. It shows the harness routings.
Assume what he's looking for is in the 1987 R/V Truck section of the link you posted. Guess I didnt notice the info in your signature!

I started out with those things, but was always getting confused because mine didn't look like their diagrams. Then I realized There is nothing "typical" on these trucks as you span the ~18 year run, from carb to injection and four different transfer cases. ;)
