Well it’s a sad day but life has changed and I don’t have the time or energy for this truck.
1987 V20 Suburban
350 TBI V8 with 78,800 original miles
SM465 manual transmission
NP208 transfer case
10 bolt 8 lug front axle, warn manual hubs
14 bold SF 8 lug rear axle
Stock suspension
33” Yokohama tires
new carpet w/ killmat + fabric sound heat dampening, new fuel pump/sending unit, new power steering pump, AC converted to modern and works well, new door and window seals on front and passenger doors, front leaf springs are new OEMs, new shocks and steering stabilizer.
Has the usual leaks. There is a new noise that I suspect is the snap ring on 3rd gear in the SM465. Replaced the drive shaft u joints but still makes the noise. Happens only when I hit 45+ in 3rd. Haven’t driven it much since then and haven’t opened the PTO cover to investigate further. Other than that, it was daily driver around town.
