my son and i are starting a 1988 chevy blazer build!

It went to the body shop a week ago! Getting ready for sand blasting! A few panels we thought were good are not. Will have a lot of new sheet metal! We are going with the Doeskin exterior color and the red second color like the factory offered in 1988. It originally was black with two tone silver but my son wanted a little more color on his truck. He is working so hard on restoring the interior parts! Dying the plastics and recovering the seats! Coming along well!
Hopefully ditching the black wheels too?

You say that like black wheels are all played out...oh wait. 
yeah not sure how the black wheels will look. we were going to go in a different direction and then decided on the doeskin and red. so the wheels may not work. we will see. we wanted to keep our original turbine wheels but we were told to switch. not sure why but we did. we are going to refurb the turbines and see what happens!
Should find a set of the factory aluminum wheels like on the brochure cover.

hi all! kind of fell of the planet!
the body work is almost done! will post some pics soon! the sand blasting revealed a huge amount of rust. massive part of the floor, inner and outer rockers, rear drivers side quarter and front inner and outer fenders were replaced or patched with new metal. some fabricated, some from AMD and some from desert valley auto ( i got a whole rear drivers quarter that we patched panels in on.
the paint is done and will be posting soon. we did a full frame up restoration. sanded to bare metal and ALL rust cut out. my son redid all the interior items and recovered the seats.
