Im currently having trouble finding the brackets for the compressor on my 454. I have the accumulator, condenser and evaporator in tact. But I am minus lines from compressor to condenser then to accumulator and evaporator( that box behing accumulator). I am in desperate need of help. If somebody has successfully installed this type of a/c with pics I'd greatly appreciate. And by the way it came stock with 350 so this 454 is a engine swap that was done a year ago. So I realllllly need some help completing this build. I think I need to figure out where I need to get proper brackets from. Then find proper lines and compressor. And I will also have to find the belt that runs the compressor.

What type of belt set up: v-belt / v-belt & multi-groove / serpentine?

What a/c compressor: A6 / R4 / ???

I'm pretty sure it's v-belt multi groove I am going to take a few pictures tomorrow when it's light outside and post them. I'm not sure about what type of compressor I need to put on there. What do you suggest? I don't know what type of vehicle the 454 come out of honestly. I'm
A somewhat shade tree mechanic but I'm far from a proffesional at this, but I think with a little help of somebody explaining exactly what I need I can install it myself. And help finding the right lines, brackets and compressor needed. It may be easier if somebody could text me? I have a iPhone and can send pictures directly if need be of what under my hood looks like. My number is 601 466 7769.

I can't figure out how to upload the images of my belt system I just took from my phone. It asks for the URL of image. I can't just upload it straight from my phone? I pretty sure it's all v belt. I don't have multi groove like on the newer pulley systems. It has two v belts on it and it can have a third one I think that's the belt that goes to bottom then up to compressor and on power steering. I need the bracket that the compressor bolt on to thats my first issue I need to resolve and I need to figure out what bracket matches what compressor I can put on there.

I don't think you can upload directly from a phone, plus you need 5 or more posts to put pics up (anti spammer stuff). Try uploading the pics to photobucket.com via their app and then you can post the "

It looks like a typical v-belt set up. Are all the belts v-belts or do any look like a serpentine type?

If it's a typical v-belt set up then you can get parts for an '80 K10 and they should all work ok.

Yes they are all the typical v belts. Ok so where do I look for bracket for 80' k10 at? And the lines and compressor? Just your neighborhood oreilleys? Or is there a site online that will carry everything I need?
