I’m the second owner (purchased 11/2007) from a family who used this Suburban to get back and forth to their Tahoe cabin with their kids. Low miles <20k on ENGINE, TRANSMISSION & T-CASE - 185k with many receipts for big repairs and service:
2001 148k – replace radiator, brake svc
2004 166k – rebuilt engine & transmission
2005 169k – rebuilt t-case
Some aftermarket parts installed:
Walker Hi-Flow catalytic converter
Flowmaster Dual Exhaust
BFG AT 32” (80%) w/ Turbine style rims
Billet Grill
I planned to install:
(can make a deal if you’re interested)
ProComp +4” lift & ProComp ES3000 shocks
MSD Ignition & MSD Blaster Coil
Skyjacker 4” Steering Arm
ProComp Pre-Runner Light Bar
Reunel Rear Offroad Bumper
2nd Battery Tray
The truck is a little rough in spots – the headliner was removed and there’s no stereo. It was repainted but not very well, hood has a spot flaking. Crack in the window on passenger side.
The grey interior is pretty good and includes the 3rd row seats. I installed an OEM receiver from another ’88 Suburban. This model was ordered with manual windows, except for the rear power tailgate, power door locks, and a 3:42 gear ratio with the high capacity fuel tank. I can fit close to 45 gallons! – nice on long trips. The lower ratio gears get much better mileage than the typical 3:73 & 4:10. Great camping/snowboarding rig or nice for work too.
Asking $1700.00
