1988 original grille

The grille on my 1988 GMC Jimmy is shot - The UV rays have beat it up and I don't want to go with the chrome billet style. Question I have is - do you think I can put an 88 style chevy grille on my GMC? Will it fit? They sell reproduction grilles that look similar to the originals but with out the emblems ie. LMC part #38-3979 and Cetifit CHTR10I0 OE part #15554910. I can't physically see it because I will have to order it so It may save me some shipping costs and restocking fees if anyone thinks it will work or has tried it before?

replacement grill

Just replaced the plastic grill and headlight covers on my 88 V30. Got them through NAPA. The grill is the same but does not have the chevy emblem. The headlight covers look just like the originals. The only thing is that the replacement grill did not come with the little plastic "buttons" that the screws go into and I had to trim up the mounting holes with a file. I tried the Chevy dealer and the original parts are no longer made. Looks a lot better now than the old one all glued together.
