Getting divorced, cant keep all the toys. I have a 1988 Suburban that I bought in 2006. The engine is newer but still likely has close to 80k miles on it. Don't know for sure because the odo has been broken for close to ten years. It's missing the back window, the body is rusting out but the frame is good and with a battery, it will drive down the road.

I installed a Ranger OD box years back. Probably needs new oil. Has a SM465 and hydro clutch swapped from the original 700R4. Engine has an Edelbrock Performer intake, short tube headers, high flow oil pump, high flow water pump, electric fan swap (two fans, two thermostats, but one thermostat isn't working right) and the original V-belts were swapped to a serp belt off a 1990 Burb. Also has 5k air springs in the back that still hold air somehow.

This will also come with the 4wd setup I took from other Burb that went to the scrapyard years back. It's a SM465/NP205 with a mechanical clutch housing. I have an extra hydro housing to go with it. Here's the kicker: there's also a NP203 range box with a 10 spline input and the proper adapter to fit it to the SM465. It was going to be a dual T-case setup but I never finished getting the parts for it. There is also a tow bar for the front that was off the other Burb as well. Just need to fab the frame tabs to attach it.

Because of the Ranger OD box and the 4wd parts, I'd like to get $1000 for it all. Probably wont take less than that and I wont part it out. Washington state title in hand. I prefer you come get it and towing it would be best, but again it will drive. I just don't make any guarantees how far it'll go. Oh and I doubt I still have the keys. Ignition is push button and I never locked the doors. But I'll look for them if you really want them.

IM me for contact info. I'll be checking back here every couple of days.

Yep, it's still for sale. The hydro clutch needs to be bled out from sitting for so long, but otherwise, it's in the condition described above.

If you want more pics, you'll have to give me a few days. The soon-to-be ex has possession of the house and thus the truck, so I have to call ahead of time before coming out.

That's a little better than I was expecting. I'm not sure what I would do with it, but I bet it would be a hoot, lol. What part of the state are you in?

I'm in the Dayton area. If it doesn't sell here, I'll likely just strip the trans/Ranger OD along with the clutch parts, put those and the other trans/t-case into storage and sell the rest for scrap.

Well hell you're even close to me. My home shop is just outside of Springfield. I'm highly interested, just have a couple details to work out yet before I can commit.

No worries. Just let me know so I can bleed out the clutch. I think I have a battery to through in it too.
