After talking with kgblazerfive I have decided to keep it and put the 12 valve from my Dodge in it.
Any help or advice would be welcome.
TBI 454 TH 400 NP 205 Dana 60 – 70 DRW
Paint’s not bad except the clear coat is coming off
Bought a year ago and put new exhaust including manifolds back
3 inch with stainless truck muffler (2.5 ft long 8 inch dia.) over $900.00 bucks
Replaced the AC compressor
Had the death wobble so I rebuilt the king pins (complete, cones and all)
Front tires have about 2500 miles on them
New drag link and tie rod ends, steering stabilizer, front shocks, rotors and seals
Packed the wheel bearings, put one U-joint in the front and have the other
Body is in pretty good shape except inside the bed, looks like it has hauled rocks
There are a few small dents and little if any rust
Interior is good
Everything works
Has a flip over gooseneck ball, as well as receiver hitch and trailer brake controller
I pulled my fifth wheel to Yellowstone last month and this thing did great except for the fuel mileage sucked (6-8mpg)
Getting rid of for the same reason as most, too many rigs, poor economy, no time, no money, wife thinks I have too many projects, blah-blah-blah-whine-whine.
I believe it truly is a good truck.
I probably have around $7000.00 in it and would like to get around $4000.00 or possible trade for the right K5 or diesel burb or ?
The truck is on the western slope of Colorado (Cedaredge to be exact) half way between Denver, Colorado and Salt Lake City, Utah
Feel free to call me, Chuck (970)433-5713 or Bill (970)234-5221
