Nice addition to the new shop!
A few pictures of the interior. Needs a little tlc but it is mostly all there. Also found a 350 tbi 4l60 that I may just drop in it for now.
I’m going to try and post all the updates and progress of this build. Today went and picked up the tbi. Brought it over to the house and began to put it back together and getting a parts list together.
Went to the local u pull it today. Spent $116 on alternator, water pump, distributor, and some odds and ends. The motor is now dropped in. Right now looks like I’m going to use a 4l60/241 combo.
What are you going to do with it?

Hard to say haha. I’d like to eventually ls swap it. But right now just budget build I guess. I’m sure I’ll change my mind a hundred different times!
Dropping the 4l60 in. And going to try and get the motor running! Let’s see how far I get today haha!

I think this is the best driveshaft angle I’ve ever had on a 4wd haha. I think we are making a lot of progress today.
Broke two starter solenoids so it did not run today. Which I still have a hand full of parts I need anyway. But it all went together relatively smooth. I ordered a stand alone harness off of eBay for the 4l60 that turns it into a Manuel shift so I’m going to see how that goes and will post about it later when I get it rolling.
She fired up!!! Just need to get a few fluids, vacuum hoses, and tlc and she will be good! I’ll try to post an update later.
Really stoked on how fast this truck went together. I thought it was going to sit in the garage until I gathered parts together but that was not the case. I still need some things but for the most part It’s all together. I may even by driving it around town by the end of the month. Also while putting it all together I noticed all the a/c is there so I may do a flush and see if that will charge up.
Installed the transmission stand alone harness today. Took it for a test drive went through all 4 gears with torque converter lock up. Brought it to the house might give it a wash tomorrow.
Flowmaster 40s came in today trying to get them under the truck by tonight.
What a long night didnt even get a pic of them hanging. They aren’t the prettiest but will do until I get a swap done.

Well came across a 2012 3/4 4x4 suburban that I bought. So I’m going to have to say good bye to the square suburban. It’s been really fun to drive on the weekends but it’s got to go.
Put some different wheels and tires on it and got the seats and carpet cleaned up.
