My fathers truck was stolen awhile ago. Hes lookin to maybe replace the column or parts. The plastic above the blinkers was broken to start the truck. Thats the only defect of the column. I was wondering if anybody would happen to know or have a diaphragm to see how to pull it or replace parts.

this is for the 2nd c/k generation
Thanks in advanced.

you'll want a lock plate tool, makes it a million times easier.. steering wheel puller or harmonic balance puller helps too....

I'll assume it's non tilt..

Thats not an easy part to replace. it is held in place by screws coming up from the bottom, from the tube section below it.. you'll need to have the column out and shaft removed to get to them... basically, you need to fully disassemble the column. the ignition switch is housed in it too...

Used column is an easier adventure...
