Truck is a 1989 GMC V1500 Suburban SLE. Owned since Sept. 2001. Reman Chevy orange 358 with RV cam has about 40k on it. 700R4 reman has about 6,500 miles on it. 3/4 ton conversion with 8-lug outers on the 30 spline 10-bolt up front and a 14 bolt FF in the rear...both with 4.10 gears. Diffs are both open and were both completely rebuilt with new Timken bearings and National seals when geared about 4 years ago. Front gears are Genuine Gear and rears are GM.

Has power windows and locks, cruise, tilt, gage package (minus the clock) map lights, visor extensions. Gray interior has a few stains but has no tears in it. Dash does have cracks in vinyl cover. Body is pretty clean, has dent in R/R door that was there when I bought it along with dent on L/F fender near grille. Was painted over. Bumpers are custom (not the BEST engineering, but hey...) and were on it when I bought it.

EGR valve, EGR actuator, coil, radiator, TPS, reman distributor, front pads, ball joints, drag link, Warn premium hubs, front knuckle u-joints, engine and trans mounts, tie rods, shocks, fuel pump (AC Delco part) and injectors are about 3 years old, but have about 9k miles on them. Plugs, rotor, cap and wires are about a year old w/ about 3k on them. Sears Die Hard SUV battery is two years old. Just had complete coolant flush. Front wheel bearings and cones are about a year old as well.

Run on nothing but 10w30 Castrol since the engine was installed. Dualed out exhaust after the 40 series flowmaster with 2.5" pipe and chrome tips. Rear brakes totally rebuilt with new drums, shoes, hardware, cylinders and parking brake cables in September.

Has flex-fan with flex-a-lite electric back-up. Trans has largest trans cooler I could find, is actually for a Class A Motorhome towing up to 23,000 lbs.

4" Skyjacker suspension lift with 3" body lift. Truck has stainless steel brake lines. Rear lift is add-a-leaf and blocks. Axle wrap non-existant...even in sand.

Wheels are 16.5x9.75 alloys with 36/12.50/16.5 Goodyear Wrangler II Military tires. Front bench and have the 3rd row seat. Code Alarm security system with remote light actuation. Alarm honks horn randomly AND has siren...definitely an attention getter. Truck also comes with 4 steel 16.5x9.75 non-matching steel wheels with 33/12.50/16.5 BFG All Terrain K/O tires.

No radio, but the dash speakers are Rockford Fosgate, rears should be Pioneer if memory serves correct. Has optional 40 gallon tank and skidplates.

Truck is almost 20 years old, so these are the big issues:

A/C inop, needs compressor, condensor and accumulator to get working. Has been converted to R134a. Has front and rear A/C.
Steering box has an input seal leak. Only leaks when parked with wheels turned to lock.
Doughnut on driver manifold leaking.
HVAC likes to blow air out whatever vents it wants to.

Truck is missing flexplate cover and suport strap to bellhousing is missing from trans dipstick. Has only been driven about 3k a year for the last 3 years. Total mileage is about 246k.

Am interested in selling for $4000 OBO. Truck is in Thornton, CO area and would be willing to meet for drive. If bought at a distance would be willing to deliver to a certain distance TBD.

I hate to see my baby go, but I bought too many other things and need to pay some debt. Shoot me a message if you're interested...and yes, it STILL has Texas plates on it. I am flexible on price, so don't be afraid to give me an offer!
