This is a VERY clean and well cared-for Blazer. Original Southern California truck has been here for all but two years (was in Texas 7/07 - 6/09) Purchased from original owner in 1990 with low miles in 100% original condition. All modifications made in last 20 years were with the intention of keeping this truck forever.. meaning only top-quality parts. However, I’m moving overseas soon and need to sell!
OVER $20,000 invested (including $6K in recent paint). Have ALL records and receipts since 1990. Never abused.
First $7,500 takes truck and ALL related parts/accessories. Runs fantastic, a real head-turner.
Take the hardtop off and enjoy the summer air!
ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN
New Crate Engine 383cu (only 15K miles) TBI, Edlebrock TES coated headers, Edlebrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, SMOG LEGAL!
Rebuilt 700R4 Transmission - including Corvette upgrade pack (only 35K miles) TCI extra-capacity oil pan, Auxiliary oil cooler rated at 24K GVW

Stock 241 transfer case
Stock axles (rear has factory limited slip) 3.73 gearing
4” suspension (National Springs) front and rear, NO blocks
Dual Rancho Shocks in front. Single Rancho shocks in rear
BFG Mud-Terrain 32/11.5/15 with American Racing aluminum wheels (15x8) Five wheels/tires in-total
Drop Forged pitman arm
Steering Box brace (Offroad Design)
Urethane bushings and bumpstops
INTERIOR
Factory original Silverado in great condition for age. Dashboard has a crack. Headliner should be redone eventually. Stock cloth seats.
B&M transmission temperature gauge installed into factory instrument cluster. Factory cruise control.
Aftermarket sunroof professionally installed. Also has rear cargo liner.
EXTRAS
Accurate Hitches (Santa Clarita) installed Class 3 trailer hitch.
Sony Stereo system, Kenwood Speakers, Pioneer Sub, Amp, Ipod input, 10 Disc CD changer
Dual 12V batteries under-hood with isolator
Bestop softop (needs rear window replaced)
Pre-Runner brush guard (not currently on truck)
Multi-Layered and lined Kimberly Clark car-cover
Smittybilt Nerf Bars/Side Steps
Total mileage on truck itself is 140K (Engine has 15K, Trans has 35K)

Motivated to sell by May 26th, prefer to a CK5 member.

Nice clean Blazer. But I have to say that you must be the ultimate K5 lurker. Member since 2001 and 14 posts...

Thanks for the compliment.... Yes, I have utilized the CK5 website forever! It's been a fantastic source of info (as well as Offroad Design for parts).

I would buy this K5 in a red hot second if I had the cash. Very nice truck.

Why? WHY? Why do you have to post this beautiful rig that makes me rack my brain on how can come up with money to buy such a beautiful thing. I can go get a loan ..... I can't, I WON'T DAMNIT! My woman would be PISSED :angry1:......that never stopped me before :D Reasoning.....I COULD get a loan and buy it and sell my truck, would work out the same as just paying on my truck, thats a PERFECT reason to buy it, it seems right? I own more on my truck then it's worth though.....DAMNIT!!

Do you see the stress you have caused!:( :haha:Man I would love that thing.

A sad day............

My long-time dependable truck is now gone.... sold for full asking price (I'm sure I could have got more if I had the time/inclination to wait). The inside was just as clean as the out.... all three stock cloth Sivlerado seats un-ripped and un-stained.... all panels original and clean as well.

Oh well.... counting this Blazer and the '74 I owned for several years... I've been a Blazer owner for about 1/4 century!

Now I need to go thru a whole new learning curve with a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram Quad Cab Cummins!

Thanks for the compliments and looking at my old Blazer :waytogo:

Ahh, well good for you for getting asking price. Guess it keeps me out of debt and having to get a loan for it. :D Did it go to a CK5er?? Hope so.
