Putting my project back together, took a ton of pics and searched the internet but cant find where the vacuum line for the cruise control goes. Diagrams I have found just say goes to engine vacuum. I know that just cant find where.

One will probably go to a switch near brake light switch under dash. Does your truck have a speedo cable driven transducer on the driver's inner fender?
As far as I remember, it should got to the fitting on the intake, right below your hand. You already have something on it, but was it actually supposed to get hooked to the throttle body?
Yes I have the switch near the brake pedal hooked up to a vacuum line. The other vacuum ports look like they are hooked up correctly, anyone have a pic of theirs?

No it is number 5 end, going to recheck my connections maybe got a couple switched

Yeah the back of my guage cluster looks like that. If you could take a look at your cruise control that would be great because everything I find looks like it is supposed to go to a manifold vacuum fitting but some have two spots and mine only one and is taken by something else that is supposed to be there.
I'll see what I can do when I get home. Got my cruise working and it's very nice to have!

Last one was the big tube going into the firewall between master cylinder and vacuum ball.
The hose in your hand goes to the manifold 90* between coil and the erg valve. In your picture you have something pluged where this should go.
Thank you Jeff in co for all the pics. I found out that someone had ran a vacuum line (that looked like a perfect fit) from the vent port of the EGR solenoid to the manifold vacuum port that the Cruise control was supposed to hook up. Amazing now idles better and not so many weird idle problems. I basically bought this from a friend and haven't driven it a block before I tore it apart. Now almost back together to find all the issues like this one. Thanks again everyone.
Any idea where the hose from inside the cab comes through the firewall?
My 89 came with cruise control but it is all gone except the wiring harness.
The intake manifold suction next to EGR valve has been capped off.
I have no way of diverting air from defrost floor or vent

It is a small hard plastic line. Iirc it goes through near the blower motor. Under I think

they get old and crack break off. if you can get 1/32" rubber vac line and splice it on to broken part.
