Heres what I got.
I bought a 1989 s10 in great condition at a great price. The only downside is the the original 4.3 tbi motor blew up and the P/O. stuck in a 1985 2.8/auto/tcase in its place. The truck runs great but the tranny is going bad and needs a rebuild. The upside to the deal is that the P/O, also gave me a 4.3 tbi/auto/tcase set up from a 1990/1991, that all worked great when it was pulled from the original truck . So what I want to do is swap out the 2.8 set up and put back the 4.3 setup. I also have the wiring harness for the 4.3 that came with the extra motor. So I guess what I need is pics/diagrams of where everything should go. I am not sure what is left of the original wiring harness that they used to run the carbed 2.8, so i will probably just yanked the whole harness from the ecm to all the components on the 2.8, then install the wiring harness I got with the extra motor. Really need pics of someones engine compartment showing all the connectors. I have changed motors, but changing wiring and harnesses is a completely different animal to me.
thanks,
Mike
