Well, lads, I've put about 2 miles on the 89 V3500 this year. I no longer have a reason to keep the truck, and because I have nowhere to safely store it, I may as well let it go to a fellow CK5er for 50 cents on the dollar. Trust me, my loss is your gain.........:frown1:

I'd like to get $6000 for it, which anyone who's familiar with the truck in question knows is a steal of a deal. Here's a pic from last year:

Anyhow, I'm about to hit the sack. I'll post up some more info and maybe a few more pics tomorrow.
 
Every time I turn around there is a truck i just cant afford DAMNIT!! That is a bad ass rig Can Can.
 
Damn you. This truck is in awesome condition. I have checked it out in person. I too would buy it if I had the funds.
 
I would have loved to have it also. Does it still have that awesome headliner in it?

I'm almost speechless that it's actually sold. That was a sweet truck, man. I kept thinking you'd hang on to it for value if it doesn't sell this time....
 
It's going to a CK5er who will give it a good home, brother. In the end, that's what matters most to me, regardless of how silly it sounds....:crazy:

I hate to imagine what would happen if an outsider bought it.
 
Yes sir, that truck is going to get all the TLC it can handle. Getting an all original K-truck in that condition, particularly a CC dually, is a dream come true for me, and while I do plan to use it, I'll do everything in my power to maintain/improve if possible the condition it's in right now.

Paul's been an awesome guy to deal with, going out of his way to inform me of every detail and throwing in all kinds of extras. I know I'm pretty new on here, but I think I can say it's guys like him that make this a 'brotherhood' not just another truck forum. :bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

Will be picking it up in a couple of weeks here--thanks Paul!!
