Hi guys,

I recently bought a 1990 K5 blazer that came with the black plastic mirrors. My passenger side is missing the lower cover of it. ANYBODY KNOW where I can get one or a complete mirror? Dont tell me ebay.........nobody on there has any, and the local GM dealer ship says its been discontinued.

any help appreciated.

Power mirrors, right?

If so there are some for sale on gmsquarebody.com, $225 for 3 mirrors I think.

Before you pay a premium price on those power mirrors you may want to check out some junk yards first, I swiped a pair along with the mirror select switch off a 91 suburban for $50... came back the next day and it was crushed, pity, the interior was spotless. Figured I would hold on to them in case I smash one on the rocks:D

My buddy scrapped a 91 burban recently, ill check with him. He saves stuff like that

Yeah i might be interested if he has them, although I only need the right side, and mine are power.

I havent checked any local junk yards yet, my gut feeling is most of the old stuff has been crushed, and I'd end up looking for somthing that isnt there.

A)If you strike out at the 'yards and online: definately try LMC truck. I haven't looked through their catalog for mirrors, but they carry everything. Right down to the factory fasteners and small plastic miscellaneous clips.

B) I also have the black plastic power mirrors: the joystick style switch on my driver's door panel is broken and hanging by the wires: LMC does not carry this piece, and I rarely see this same set up in other Blazers/Jimmys. Are there any aftermarkey solutions to this?

Strangely enough................LMC does NOT carry those mirrors.............and I had one guy tell me any 88-2000 C/K truck mirror will work.....B.S.....they are very different in their mounting brackets compared to the 88-2000 C/K style mirrors.

Actually there is alot of stuff LMC doesnt offer.............for 73-87 chevy trucks and blazers.
