School is finally here again, and with that comes commuting. So I really hate to do it, but I put my Blazer up for sale this week in the Want Ad. All the specs and info you need are at the link below. I wish school was closer, and gas prices were lower, and hell I wish I got payed more but all these things add up to me having to sell my K5, and get some shitty commuter vehicle. So I'm negotiable on the price to an extent and I really need this gone ASAP as school starts this monday Oct 4th. So help a brother out and buy this truck! /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

The link has exceeded it's allocated bandwidth.

This ad needs a price and I would post the description here too in order to avoid the GeoCities issue.

I looked at a few pics of the K5 on the eastcoastk5 site, it looks pretty good. What sort of "shitty" commuter vehicle are you looking for? I have a good reliable '88 Jeep Cherokee that I could offer as partial trade. It's not pretty but it's also not a total POS. What is your asking price? What condition is the tranny in? Do you still have the A/T's to go with it or just the 35's?

Re: Hate to do it, but 1990 Blazer in MASS

I guess the site goes down temporarily, so I'll just post everything here.

I am the second owner of this truck. The first being a woman from CT. I bought it used from a dealer in CT in 2003 with 110k miles on the clock, with no known problems, other than some New England rust. I drove it daily about 12 miles a day, to and from work, and other random excurrsions. I was never happy with a stock vehicle so I started researching modifications, and came upon ColoradoK5.com It's a site almost entirely dedicated to K5 owners across the country, and even the world. If you ever have a problem, they'll know what it is or how to fix it. Long story short, I began to dump all of my paychecks into the truck until it was at a point where I thought it was done. But my plans soon changed, and I was set to move down south for school. So before x-mas I quit my job, and prepared to move in January. But, my plans changed for the better, and I'm set to start school this October in Warwick RI. So with no job and no expenses (living with parents) I decided I would really dig into the Blazer, so I took it off the road and began a mini restoration. And here it is 7 months later, for sale. The ONLY reason I'm selling is because I have to drive 45 miles to school.

Re: Hate to do it, but 1990 Blazer in MASS

I've got a 93 2wd ext cab S-10 5 speed stick 2.8 and lots of miles I'll trade you.

Re: Hate to do it, but 1990 Blazer in MASS

Already have. Here I've got this thing posted everywhere! Here, pirate, neow, the want ad, locally. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I've allways had bad luck selling my vehicles. I've only had one bite and he's coming this sunday to take her for a spin, but explaining everything to him was like talking to a wall, he had no idea as far as all the mods go. And because of that, he's trying to low ball me big time, because he doesn't understand. I wish I could sell this to someone who has a clue, and would appreciate everything.

Oh and btw, I picked up an S10 this week, so I'm no longer open to trades, unless it's a classic car or truck, or bike.

Thanks anyway & BTT
