What years Blazer or PU Dash Pad will fit my 1990 K5??

I have looked for a while & can not find a good replacement.. I even bought the new one from JC Whitney, but it did not fit correctly & the trim did not fit, so I sent it back.

I do not care what color it is as I can paint it, but a Nice Red One would be great if you have one....:D

Thanks,

I ordered a cheapo dash pad from Classic Industries and sent it back, it was like $225 or something.

The best bet is to find OE or prepare to shell for the $500+ aftermarket ones if you want it to look right.

Dashes Direct

The one I got from JC Whitney came from a company called

Dashes Direct... Very poor quality, plastic mounting screws that had crossthreaded nuts.. screws broke when trying to remove nuts.... Also very flexible... when you removed the wood shipping brace,it would dang near fold in half...

Trim did not fit, longer than mounting area.... Silverado name plate hung over passenger side by 1/2 inch..

And after taking the old dash out, removing the front clips from old dash so you could use them on new POS..... breaking mounting screws.....

THE DAMN THING DID NOT FIT ON THE DASH!!!!!!!!!:angry1::angry1:

However, I must say that JC Whitney did not have a problem taking it back... for full credit.... I hope I will not be out the $45.00 shipping charge... we will see...

So now I am back scouring the junk yards.....

That is the issue I had last summer when I was looking for a new one. Everyone I talked with said theirs was just like the OEM. Most of them don't have any metal in them to give them the support the oem has the oem is vinly over foam not urethane.
I ended up getting an oem from Classic Parts for $399.00, ordered an aftermarket one and it was on back order, so I got them to match Cheyenne Pickup parts.

Her some pic of it.
