Hi I have a 1990 k-5 blazer that had a tango with a tree :doah:, The frame is bent and looking for a frame to transfer my parts to it. Is it worth it? or am I opening a can of worms? Also do I stay around the same year for mounting brackets,etc... or can I range. I also tossed a burban, will the springs be the same size of a blazer or should I not even go there? I just have alot wrapped up into building and dont want to just loose all the work and $ just parting it. Or I guess just part and get another, will it pay to part or is it a waste of time? I appreciate any info, Thanks Shane :thumb:

With regard to the issue of the frame itself, I think we covered that pretty well in your previous thread on the topic.

Don't know what all is damaged on your current '90, but it might be easier to find another complete truck and swap the specialty parts into it instead.

Stock rear springs on a Blazer are 56" long. Not sure about a 'Burb, but if you have the 'Burb springs, you can now just measure and see. :)

Parting a truck makes more money than selling it whole. It also requires a TON of work and time, so if your time = money, then it probably makes more sense to sell it whole at a loss. Some people don't value their time in the same way though, so it all depends on the seller. ;)
