No longer for sale. Going to keep it. Mods delete if needed.

I bought this truck from the original owner in May 2020. He special ordered it new from Fisher Chevy in Boulder. He also ordered the camper from Hallmark right after he bought the truck and it was installed in mid 1991. Unfortunately he sold the rear seat, top, and tailgate shortly after the camper was installed.

This truck has 109,200 miles on it. PO claimed to have taken very good care of it, regular oil changes etc. It puffs the usual TBI smoke cloud when you start it. Runs and drives really well. Has never had a clutch put in it, it may be due for one. Has 3.08’s in the axles. 207A52FB-E21E-4FAF-BB6C-378B5137A6C9.jpeg

I saw this on Craigslist when it went up for sale the first time. Very nice setup.

I already know the answer to the question I have but need to ask anyway. What about the possibility of splitting up the pair and selling the camper separately? Top and tailgate are pretty easy to find and could made as part of the deal too if need be.

I've got a buddy itching to get a camper for his K5 but his is built and ready for it.

I can totally understand not wanting to split but if you are interested please let me know.

Thanks!

Thanks, gonna keep it. Stock. Last guy who looked at it scared the s--t outta me. Said if he bought it, he was gonna cut the cab for a 73-75 top and wheel it. The camper is in a rusty 89 now and it'll be for sale soon. For much, much less money.

Yeah I think they were looking for an FWC, not a hallmark but maybe they'd be interested in this one.

probably said he got his inspiration off a site called CK5 :pimp1:

Very curious why the original owner ordered with 3.08’s when they planned to install camper? Guess he wasnt thinking about it.

glad you are keeping the k5, hopefully the camper finds a new home.

Me too. I'm not sure what the standard ratio was. I decoded the sticker a little while back, and this thing has the rear seat delete code. Can't remember which one it is. When I pulled the camper out, original rubber mat is still in it and sure as heck, there are no holes in it. Never had a seat back there. First time I've ever seen a K5 without. Guess that dude wasn't lyin' he really did special order this thing.

Bought a thoroughly molested and VERY rusty 89 silverado of the same color and cherry picked it. Gonna put the 90 in indoor storage (dads barn) for a couple years til I can get to it. Got about 20 other projects to do first. Plan is a repaint in the original color and either CUCV's or OE rally's and 31's.

Chalet was 3.73

I'd like to check that camper out in person. I've never really looked at a Hallmark other than pics on the web. I'll be up this weekend to see the folks and should have some time to check it out if you are going to be around. Let me know.

You betcha. I'm working Sat and Sun in the afternoon, 2-10 but I'll be home in the morning. PM'd a phone # give me a call.
