I got a late model steering wheel to install on my '88 K5. It has the wheel, center cap and a wire with a spring and brass mushroom on the end. How do I install this wheel and am I missing any parts?

Thanks

It should bolt straight up.
Is there a wheel on your '88 right now? If so, just pay attention when you take it apart, it's very straightforward.

Have your old steeringwheel straight, take the nut off, and pull the wheel. (steeringwheel puller)Put the new wheel on, tighten the nut down. done

Thanks, How do I make sure the horn will work? Where does the wire with the spring and brass contact go? Is the horn set up the same as the old stock wheel? Thanks

It's all the same. Like has been said, just pay attention as you're taking it apart and re-use whatever you don't have new.
