1990 sub project i might start

Just wondering what you guys think. 1/2 ton 350 w/ 600 miles that is not getting oil to the top end for some damn reason. 700r4 and a 208. Was going to make it a 1 ton. What i dont know is should i just wait till i get a 3/4 ton to start with? Better frame and not sure what else would be a step up? I have a the complete drivetrain from a 3/4 ton sub (body was about to rust off the frame) and about to pick up a 1 ton crew cab i could use.

That truck should have a 241 instead of a 208.

I started with a 3/4 ton, but was not aware that the frame was any different - I thought it was just suspension/trans/axles that were different?

really? my bud said that it was thicker and a bigger c channel. guess i never relly looked close.....

i belive the eralyer ones were thicker, but like 79 up were the same?
not sure but that is what flotes around here.

if you do use the 1/2 ton it wont matter much since your upgradeing stuff to one ton leavel, just remember to gat a one ton mc too, i cant see that little 1/2 ton pushing them big brakes that good
