TBI spacer
Salad bowl
Less then 4k on the tires/shocks/lift
new heater core
recent cap/rotor/plugs/wires
new flowmaster
recent cat, everything from the y pipe back is new
all fluids changed
4 core radiator
K&N filter

The A/C is currently unplugged, last year the clutch was intermittently locking up. I bought a new clutch and a new belt and never got around to fixing it. The A/C is fully charged and blows cold when plugged in. Its when you turn it off the clutch slips.

The interior is 9/10 IMO. The carpet needs a shampoo but the seats are in flawless condition. The dash has 0 cracks and has a brand new cover on it.

The exterior is 8/10. The paint could be buffed to look 9/10. It does have some scratches n dings here n there but all in all is in great shape.

Any questions just let me know. Im sure Ive left a lot out.

The old Warn bumper and 8274 have found another home. The original bumper is back on.

I would like to $4500 out of the old girl

Nice Suburban! I read through the build also. Lately I've been searching in my local area via c-list for a V2500 Suburban. Some candidates, but nothing this nice. Boise to Sacramento area and back would be a heckuva road trip!

Great rig! Blue is my favorite color.

I might be able to help.
I go to Boise and I live close to Sacramento.
Worst case I can give you free ride down and you can drive it back and best case I can have enough room and haul it up to you for reasonable cost.

90 Sub

Thanks for the offer. It would be a fun trip. I'm sure it would be better than the short trip across town to see another 3/4 ton. For the price the one here doesn't compare.

I regret selling my 90 a couple years ago every time I look at another one for sale locally. Mine had more options and was in better shape. This road trip sounds like fun! Hope the Harley's sell soon.

Put some lipstick on the pig, haha. I will take $4K from anyone on this forum or Im open to trades like a K5, K10 etc in similar condition.

I also wanted to include a couple others things that are wrong with it just so its clear.

-Radio antenna is broken, but stereo still works
-Speedo works intermittently, so the cruise control acts the same
-There is a "brake" light, troubleshot to the RWABS control box. I don't see a need for ABS on a rig this heavy so I ignored the light.

Rust free CA truck

Lets make a deal Gents

You are tempting me.

Drive this thing to Tx and ill hand you the cash plus foot the gas bill. :thumb:

Can I pay you with cold adult beverages? Always feels like less money that way.

Worth taking a quick look at the 2 wire harness between the trans and the VSS.

90 was electronic speedo, right?

My speedo was jumping, and working intermittently. I removed this 2 wire harness, and untwisted it in good light. The interior twists of wire insulation were all cracked, and shorting out when warm.

I replaced the bad section of wire, threw some split loom over it, and have been running it for 5+ yrs with no issues.

Good luck with sale!

With intermittent loss of vehicle speed signal, could that cause an ABS fault?

I don't have my Helm's manuals handy to look that up.

Probably could. That ABS system is rear wheel only i think. unless that was 89. either way, you can read the ABS codes with a paper clip like the OBD1 CEL.

I agree with the owner, the abs systems on these trucks aren't worth having.

The ABS was troubleshot long before the speedo went out. It's getting a improper voltage code. I put a meter on it and it's getting power to the box so the box is bad IMO
