Rebuilt at 200k miles (only 18k on rebuild)
Block: vat, bore .30” over, hone, resize main caps
Heads: vat, 3 angle valve job, new valve guides, seals, & retainers
Rotating a$$embly: grind & polish crank, resize rods, new hypereutectic pistons & rings, computer spin balance entire rotating a$$embly.
New parts: all bearings, seals, gaskets, freeze plugs, pistons, rings, cam, lifters, double roller timing chain set, high volume oil pump, bolts, water pump, belt, hoses, etc.
Radiator was re-cored, and throttle body was rebuilt

ADS performance chip, MSD 6.5mm plug wires
Dynomax ceramic coated headers, true 2.25” duals w/ 2 Magnaflow high-flow cats, & 2 Flowmaster 40’s, dumped.
Transmission:
4L60 (no “E”). same thing as the 700r4, except it has computer controlled torque converter lockup. It was rebuilt not long before I bought the truck with a shift kit and some aftermarket parts. Shifts great, never once had a problem.
Transfercase:
NP241C. Replaced with a new or rebuilt unit before I bought the truck. No problems.
Suspension:
Installed 8/04 at 210,000
Front: new 6” tuff country EZ ride springs w/ new bushings
F250 shock towers
Rear: 5.5” tuff country cast iron blocks + AAL
Gabriel gas charged truck shocks w/ VST. 12” travel.
Front axle: 30 spline 8.5” 10 bolt
Rebuilt 8/04 at 210,000
NEW PARTS: all 4 MOOG balljoints, raised steering arm, drag link ends, wheel bearings, seals, new 8 lug hub/rotor a$$emblies, extra-long Dorman lug studs, ¾ ton calipers & Wagner thermo-quiet ceramic pads, Dana-Spicer ujoints, NEW 5.13 Yukon ring & pinion w/ all new bearings, & full Detroit locker, Warn Premium manual lockout hubs.
Rear axle: 10.5” 14 bolt FF
Rebuilt 8/04 at 210,000
NEW PARTS: 5.13 Yukon gears, all new bearings, Detroit locker, Timkin wheel bearings & seals, new disc brakes w/ new rotors, calipers, pads, and extra long Dorman lug studs.
Tire/wheels
All 5 tires and one wheel were brand new 8/04 at 210,000, the other 4 wheels were bought used
(5) 37x12.50-16 10 ply E load range Super Swamper radial SSR’s
(5) 16x10 Eagle Alloys 589 aluminum 8 lug
Spare has been rotated in, all 5 have similar tread wear. No scalloping, cupping, or irregular wear. I would say they have about 85-90% tread. they ride just as smooth and quiet, if not quieter than my old BFG A/Ts.
Other stuff:
ORD steering box frame brace
Stainless braided front brake hoses
Kicker Impulse 350i 2 way speakers in the dash
Blaupunkt 3 way 6x9’s in boxes in the rear on a 100w amp
CB w/ Wilson Silverload tuneable 4’ fiberglass antenna on rear bumper
55 watt backup fog lights
Front headlights are German made OSRAM (not Sylvania) Silverstar 55w H7 composites. They are very bright, and very white.
It also has the wiring kit with extra Hella relays to allow all 4 headlights to stay on when you flick on the high beams. Also has upgraded wiring with larger 14 or 12ga wiring.
Custom made stainless steel nerf bars. These are very thick, and very heavy. They will not dent or bend like the jcwhittney crap. These will actually protect the rockers if need be. I would imagine they were very expensive to have made, they were on the truck when I bought it.
I modified the DRAC for the speedometer with a DIP switch, so the speedometer is exactly correct, and can be recalibrated for different gear/tire ratios with a simple flip of a few switches.
The bad:
Typical early 90’s GM clear coat fade on hood and roof.
I replaced both window motors, but the drivers side regulator just started jumping teeth. The rear tailgate power window goes up and down flawlessly. The dash pad is in an overall good condition but has a couple of normal heat cracks in it.
I converted the A/C to 134a, but recently the blower quit blowing. I might be able to fix it if I have time.
Extra parts…… if I get my asking price, this stuff will go with the truck. If not, I get to keep some or all of it.
1991 Chevrolet R/V, & P model factory service manuals. 4 parts: service manual, unit repair manual, wiring schematics, and a supplement booklet
STC Fast-Trac soft top. Cab curtain / tonneau style with bolt-on “tracks”. EXTREMELY good condition. Looks brand new.
56” long rear springs out of a suburban. These give you better ride & flex when used with a shackle flip & longer shackles.
Extra throttle body unit.
