a friend picked up a running and driving. clean and straight 91. 6" rough country lift. 35" bfg mud tires. lift, tires and rims. just over a year old. clean in and out. has the nice front clip. has no power and a mate on the floor. 111k on the truck. rocker has just a bit of rust, nothing really bad

heres the question, he paid 1500. he thinks it was to much. if any at all the paint needs to be done. it down to primmer in some spots.

So why is this NOT to much??? i told him if i knew where it was i would sell the other one i have and this would be in my yard.

yeah, i never find things like this anymore. im going to show him this post late sunday

later

Hmm... a clean, good running Suburban with over $1500 worth of parts and modifications done to it, sounds like he scored a deal.

Everybody here thought it was a great deal for my friend Carl to score a stock '87 1/2ton 'burb 4x4. The one your buddy found sounds like a score to me since it's got a heavier rear (Carl broke his):doah: and a lift and tires already on it.:waytogo: Just tell him that if he still thinks he payed too much, he can bring it to me and I'll give him the $1500 for it.:haha:

Sounds like a steal to me too. I gave $2500 for mine with similar miles and condition... but it was a stock half ton.
