1991 Blazer, it look ok?

Depends entirely on how well that TBI'd 350 runs IMO. If the engine is tired and about to die I wouldn't spend $1000 on it... if its a strong runner and the tranny shifts OK its probably worth it.

judging by the front clip, its not a 91. more like an 88 and below

VIN shows it is a 1991. Not all of these trucks came with the dual front headlights.

hmm. look at the other pics too, nothing in it looks like a 91. the dash bezel, the steering wheel, the bumpers are earlier.

im just saying to make sure you look into it

Its a stripped down model (hence steering wheel, bezel etc) - but it is a '91. I'd buy it for that price.

I'd buy that "work" truck frontend Blazer too . Its really clean inside , and it may still be dual fuel capable :D

I knew right away what it was by the frontend , headlightswitch , and wipers on the column :D

That looks identical to my '91. The same color dash and everything. The front-end is the same except mine came with a Ranch Hand. I paid 1500 for mine with 144k and it runs very well. I say go for it. It is nice having the stripped down interior with no carpet as it is so easy to clean out. Good luck!

That truck looks to be a steal is probably why. With the barebone interior and apparently straight body, it looks like a solid contendor for modding eh? I'd like to see how high it actually does go as that is pretty much identical to what I just purchased. I will keep my eyes peeled for a truck for you. If you haven't yet, look into craigslist.com I saw a blazer sell for under a thousand with decently low miles recently.

Thanks man! I live in dallas, and am willing to drive that far, have friends down there. I haven't checked those yet. We used to have some really homeless people type carlots around here, had blazers and stuff I thought at the time was crap for dirt cheap.

Does that list do texas too?

Ive seen some good deals come out of craigslist... another decent one (in some areas) is backpage.com

craigslist is a pretty sweet resource for cheap trucks, there is a portion of their site for the dallas area as well. Just keep an eye out. The truck I bought sat across the street at the neighbors for a year before I decided to buy it (wrecked my DD '88 Porsche 944S). Suprisingly he said 1500 was all he wanted as had it since 95; drove it as a hunting truck and DD through college and law school. I'm very happy with it and you will be happy with one of these trucks too, just keep your eyes out for a deal.
