Newbie
Good morning,
Haven’t been to the Board for a number of years. But, I am finally selling my 1991 Blazer.
It is a clean, well maintained 1991 Chevy Blazer. Fuel injected, 4 speed transmission, 4:10 gearing, NP241, 33" BFG A/T's, black rims, rock sliders, SLIGHT rust on the floor pans (rockers are good). Driven carefully and not thrashed off road.
It was bone stock when I bought it in 2004. Used as my daily driver for many years. I have done a ton of upgrades on the truck and only used the best quality parts. Some of the work is detailed below:
SUSPENSION/STEERING-ORD 2.5" shackle flip, Tuff Country springs up front, ORD zero rate on stock rear springs, ORD greasable shackles, poly bushings, ORD swaybar disconnect, ORD steering frame brace (also have the weld on frame kit-uninstalled), set-up for crossover steering (ORD crossover steering kit-currently running stock steering configuration-purchase will include crossover parts), new Bilstein 5125's, new steering damper, new ball joints, new bearings, new ujoints, new P/S pump, new steering gearbox, ujoint steering shaft, etc.
DRIVETRAIN-SM465 w/granny gear first, (rebuilt in 2006-fixed issue with popping out of gear), new HD Clutch, NP241 with Slip Yoke Eliminator, Spicer long-spline HD driveshaft, all new ujoints, rebuilt 10 bolt axles-4:10 gears, Warn premium hubs, rebuilt Auburn limited slip (very tight), poly trans mount, new hydraulic clutch, class 4 hitch, 7 pin trailer harness, drop hitch.
FUEL SYSTEM-new fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump, new fuel injectors, new braided fuel line to TBI unit.
ENGINE- Edelbrock RPM manifold, new MAP, TPS, MAF, O2 sensors, new Spark plug wires, new distributor, new 140amp alternator, Flowmaster exhaust system, new 4 row radiator, new A/C system (blows COLD), new Interstate battery
New windshield, Kenwood stereo, GT steering wheel (I have the horn button-also have stock steering wheel-BIG). Lots of other small stuff that I can't remember.
Full set of factory service manuals. Extra front rotors, rear drums, Pro Comp hubs and other odds and ends.
Runs great. Lots of grunt and fun to drive. Clean NM title.
*STUFF IT NEEDS*SEE PICS*
It needs a new driver seat cushion/cover, new floor coverings, some rust repair on the driver side floor pan (just found 3 small holes where the bulkhead and floor meet). Definitely needs new tires. They still have decent tread, but are 12 years old. The center console was ripped open by a thief. It just needs a new piece of plywood screwed in to fix it. Paint is a bit faded, a few dents here.
It has been mostly unused in the past five years. I would take it for a drive every few months to keep it fresh. I thought I would keep it forever, but it is time to pass it on to someone else that will enjoy it.
I don't need help selling it.
$5,000. It is worth it.
