Isn’t the tcm internal on the 6l80? The big pink wire that went to the stock hei distributor is hot in run and crank.
Yes the 6l80 TCM is internal. Just heard back from the dyno guys and I called Howell EFI (made my harness) as well as the Chevy Dealer. I think my only option now is to buy a gen 5 TCM and plug it in.
My Chevy dealer has 2 in stock so I'm gunna pull my valvebody and bring it with me to make sure itll physically go into my 6l80. In theory they should be able to communicate!
And that pink wire is what I will tap into for hot crank/run. Thanks for that tip!
