NOT MINE!!! But it sounds like a great deal! He said it is an automatic, probably a VSS NP205. The truck was his brother in laws that recently passed away. He is by Seattle.

1991 Chevy 1 ton w/ smooth running 350 w/dual exhaust. This truck looks rough, but runs great. It has been in storage for the last five years(fuel was treated before storage and truck was periodically started). Put new battery in it and it fired right up. Service style canopy included. Truck has expired plates and clear title. This truck will sell. Like I said before, it looks rough but runs great and sounds great. Good brakes. Good transmission. You can reach me at 206-669-7248

Should also be the 4l80e
I guess I should go get it.

add has been deleted by author, looks like it's sold.
I still might call to confirm.

I still might call to confirm.

And after I called found out it wasn't sold so I bought it.
Trying to find someone somewhat local to possibly pick it up for me and hold it for a week or so???

Is it a 4l80e?
I didn't get the confirmation, all I got is that is completely stock except the dual exhaust, so I took my chances, it's still worth it even if it has the th400.
I checked the BMV in OH where the truck is registered and it's an original low miles truck.
It does have expired tags, 5 years to be exact, so it's fate is still up in the air, usually when I register vehicles from other states any unpaid fees are waived, but there is always a first time at which I will just part it for the parts, I already have a 2wd Crew cab shell that needs the parts.
By the way thanks for the link:thumb:

Good work Iceman!

Should be a nice rig.

CA is the only state that makes you pay all the back fees when doing a registration. I don't think they have the right to charge fees for OH when OH doesn't want the money.

its been deleted...

It's been deleted for a while but Greenie had his number listed in the post so I called him and sent him the deposit and now it's mine.
I might have someone pick it up and drive it down this way this sunday.
I should know by tomorrow.
I offered $200 plus gas money to bring it down, and a couple of guys were coming down this way so one will drive it and the other will pick him up once they get here. I am crossing my fingers. :dunno:

Thanks Corey for your help.
So from the pics I couldn't really tell if there is any rust, it looks like it has a few dings and doesn't look perfect but in person does it look bad or decent?
I see the 205 needs some attention.
When you drove it, would you say it should be fine making the 750 mile drive home?

I would consider it a pretty rusty truck, they must use salt on the roads in Ohio. It will need new windshield wiper blades and a rear brake/blinker bulb put in for the drive. Only 1 gas tank works too. The AM radio with 1 speaker sucks. But the drivetrain is good

Yes Ohio uses alot of salt on their roads.

I guess I'll drive it and then figure out if it would make enough money selling it as an original rare 1991 truck or just move the running gear to a clean CA truck and call it good.:dunno:
