Well I'm at that point in life where I have a little more spending money. We bought three newer vehicles so the 91 Suburban isn't a daily driver. With 404,000 miles it's ready for some serious work. I put a crate motor in and a friend rebuilt the transmission but they have well over 100k already.

I listed the pig on CL and had one call, my wife wasn't to happy about that so I guess we will keep it. Here it sits in it's present condition. This will take up a huge piece of shop space if I start disassembling it.

404?! Any suspension work done?

Thats pretty impressive. I'm almost at 270.....but can't imagine 404.

Did most of the miles go on early in life?

It had a bunch of miles when we bought it, we put over 200k on it. Many trips and wife used it for work/travel. Other then the manual hubs it's stock.

That's way cool. Awesome to see this.

Subscribed for the rebuild :thumb:

Geez, dude, that body is clean and straight for all those miles. Plus, you've got so much history with it. Blast and paint it, replace any worn parts and go for 600k! 100k on the drivetrain is no biggie. Have the 10-bolts been rebuilt? If not, there must be an ocean of slop in those spider gears!

Yes the 10 bolt needs to be rebuilt or something else in it's place. I have a 14FF rear end but not sure if I can do the spring perch re-weld work.:dunno:
