When it rains it pours the saying goes. I'm back again, sooner than I would like. But, I think I'm in the right place. Heavy snow here in the NE. I did not do any rough riding. But the shock mount broke. I drove cross country from Montana a few months ago thinking I got a totally rust free truck. But did not check this spot before buying. LMC Truck does not seem to have a part to repair this. The right side mounts through the frame. But this side mounts to another piece on top of the frame. Is there a correct part to repair this damage or what is the fix? Thank you in advance.

Good news. You are in the right place. Offroad design makes the remedy for just that issue.
It's pretty new. Check out the website. Offroaddesign.com

Thanks for the tip. I checked that site out. They describe it as a preventative measure for use before the mounting point breaks. In my case the left side mount is already broken. If this is all that's out there I may have to figure something out using that part.

Did the shock stud break loose from the bracket? It can be welded back together. Or get a good used replacement, Burb and K5 shock brackets are identical I believe. But removing it with the body still on the frame might be a little challenging.
