1991 v3500 - big dumb lifted forever truck

No, my common rail decided it needed the cylinder head to come off. Got studs though.

I have the dana 80 done now. Trying to figure out what I'm going to do for a boost and egt gauge. I have autometer gm match but they clearly are for gmt400.

Ryan had a baby. We were going to swap this at his house November and December. And here we are............

Too bad, that's how it usually seems to go

I was given an old steel horse console which is actually in pretty solid shape. A little bit of simple green and blue paint to match my blue it started looking good.
The original cup holder part was smoked so I found some 07-14 gm cupholders and swapped that in. Too easy. I'm gonna put some miles on it and see if I like it.

Is this good? Asking for a friend.

Apparently 1000 pounds is too much for the 2 ton hoist.
And I'm kind of ashamed to say how long this cradle stand thing took me lol.

Getting everything ready to go into the truck for transport to Ryan's place where I'll be doing all the major work. Should have the drivetrain pulled or at least the 350 by Sunday.

6bt is in the 1200-1300 lb range, at the 1 ton mark the casters on my old lift were not happy.

Nothing really noteworthy. Just stripping the truck of everything that is changing. Being respectful of Ryan's space and shop. He has a new baby and still works on shit. I dont want to unnecessarily bring covid over from the hospital if I can avoid it. So I've been working on my truck outside when I can.
It will be a while before I can set the motor in it even. There is a mountain of work that I have chosen to do.

Did you see my latest reply in the other thread about the DRAC wiring? I don’t have the section going outside to the tcase.

Oh no I totally missed that. Thanks for checking though. Its integrated into this 4l80 harness so I've got to replace it for my speedometer.

Yeah I spent a good couple hours under there.
I can pull a set of pedals in about 10 minutes though. Going back in was awful lol

You going to pull that front crossmember and fab up a nice tube custom one? Or what's the plan there?
