What a gorgeous truck. How hard is a 4wd conversion on the dodges?

Pretty easy, the frames are almost indentical. All you have to do is buy or fab up some front spring hangers and drill 4 holes (3 bolt holes and 1 spring bushing hole) for the rear shackle mounts. I was going to use this truck for a 85 2wd Dodge crew cab converison for it's motor and tranny, then turn the 85 2wd into a 4wd.

LOVE that truck! I'm buying a house right now, so I can't even afford to eat at the moment though.

I love it too, but need the money for other things right now.:(

I've seen that truck on another board, hmmmmm.
Good luck, nice truck.

It's one in the same, I just go by different names on different boards.

Thanks!

Where exactly are you? Where is the oil leaking from?

I'm in NE Texas, Longview, Texas. It's 2 hours east of Dallas right off of I-20. I'm exactly 10 minutes north of I-20 right off hwy 259N.

The oil is leaking from behind the power steering pump, which mounts to the front of the engine block. It should be just a seal, but I don't know how hard it would be to replace.

If you would want to look at the truck I will be home all this weekend. Send me a PM and I will leave you a number where I can be reached at.

Eric
