Finally ready to part ways with my S10 Blazer, that I have owned since 2010. I have put around 80k miles on it since then. It now sits at 195437 mi.
I have driven this truck everywhere, from WA to AZ many times (as recently as 2021), down to San Francisco (where it got valeted at the Fairmont, lol), and up and down the 101 on the coast, just to name a few trips.
This is a 1993, Tahoe (mid-level) trim package 4 door, 4x4. It was optioned up with the Tahoe LT paint and interior trim (basically the good seats). 93-94 was the swan song years for these Blazers, as GM had the bugs worked out and these got the HD cooling package standard.
This truck is extremely straight and clean, with only one spot of rust in the inside of the tailgate, and a dent by the passenger rear window. (see pics)
Engine is the 4.3l 195 hp CPI V6, runs good, never rebuilt, puffs some smoke at startup, but doesn't use much oil or leak. Trans is a 4l60E (first year), never rebuilt, and works as it should. Transfer Case is a NP-233C, push-button, and works good. Axle gearing is 3.42. Tires are 31X10.50-15 BFG All-Terrains (2017) on the factory 15x7 alloys.
P/S, P/B (4wheel antilock), P/W, P/L, cruise, tilt, power drivers seat w/ power lumbar, A/C, full analog gauges, Panasonic cassette deck with Sony Explode front and Polk Audio rear speakers.
I have all the receipts for the work I've done and a detailed maintenance log.
Work I've done: Radiator, fan clutch, water pump, belt, power steering pump, alternator, EGR Valve, fuel pressure regulator, coil, cap, rotor, ignition module, wires (Accel), plugs (Bosch), oil cooler lines, battery(s), starter(s), blower motor, blower resistor, heater core, trans flush and filter, t-case encoder motor, Moog ball joints, tie-rod ends, idler and pitman arms, Rancho RS5000 shocks, poly sway bar bushings, rear pinion seal, fuel pump and harness, fuel pump relay, lots of regular maintenance and some other stuff I am sure I'm missing.
Work it needs: Drivers door pins (have), and some spot welds to fix a crack where the drivers door jam striker mounts. Needs drivers window motor (have), and rear door window motors (have a pass rear), and needs new front door window weatherstripping (have). A/C doesn't work, was having some issues with the low side pressure switch, but jumping it worked, and the orifice tube is stuck and won't come out. Also, front of headliner is shot, console lid is crumbling, drivers door armrest needs reattached. Could use a nice buffing so it can look like the first pic.
Obviously I have really liked this truck, and want someone to take it over and be its new care taker. Currently, I feel like I don't have enough time to take care of all my vehicles the way I would like to. (read - OCD). I have not posted this anywhere else yet, and I will ask more. And I didn't even wash it for these pics. I also have a bunch of extra parts to go with it.
