1994 Chevy K2500

Ok let's kick this discussion off!

Well, I missed having a pickup and this one was just calling to me. 6.5TD with the F vin code, NV4500 and 4x4, had been in the same family since new, virtually no rust. It's a Silverado trim truck, so it's fancy. Everything is in working condition except the clutch, which is TOTALLY shot. If this doesn't get many views/responses, might need to make a separate thread to look for info...

I want to convert from dual-mass to solid flywheel. Unless I buy a kit from an auto parts store, most of the kits online are for trucks that have been converted already and don't include the new flywheel or pressure plate bolts. Does anyone know the length for these bolts and the bolts for the pressure plates? Could potentially assemble a kit for cheaper and save some $$.

You check with Southbend Clutch? Been a decade or more since I worked with them but I remember they had one at one time.

AutoZone has a kit for <$450, so that doesn't really help, but I appreciate it. Ended up finding what I needed back in stock on Rock Auto, so went with that for ~$350.
