So did you ever wonder what the square body might of looked like if GM went a few more years? Well, I would like to know if I could get one of these in to the Country and license it. Made in Brazil by General Motors.
The Suburban was called the Chevrolet Veraneio (Vacation translated)
Vacation was a Chevrolet sport utility (SUV) large size (full-size) produced by the Chevrolet of Brazil from 1964 to 1994 , inspired by the Chevrolet Suburban American and pickups derived from D-10 and D-20 . Initially it was called C-1416 (name used until 1969). The model had four doors and accommodated six people. Had seven versions: C-1416, Amazon, Thin Step, Mangalarga, Bonanza, M and Vacation Grand Blazer.
The main reason for the success of Vacation that even made his name in Brazil was its use as a police car especially during the military dictatorship, but in some cases was also used as ambulance, and even so in the civil environment. Even today some police bodies use the vehicle in parallel with the current Blazer , also of Chevrolet.

The Bonanza was a SUV large the Chevrolet derived from D20 pickup, was basically a shorter version of Vacation with only two doors. The model had versions with gasoline, alcohol and diesel. The gasoline and alcohol were the same as Opal, while the diesel engines were Perkins 3.9 liters, but this engine was used from 1984 to 1991 was later adopted the line of Maxion S4 engines, in versions aspirated and Turbo with 4 liters.
Although the term SUV is used, the correct name for the body of the Chevrolet Bonanza is "bus", and "truck" refers to the small truck.

- The first generation of the utility was produced until 1989 , when it was replaced by the second, this time based on the pickups of the 20 series , including winning a short version and two doors, called Bonanza .
- It was available with 4 and 6 cylinder inline engines, gasoline powered or alcohol.
- A great detail: there are many summers diesel, but the Chevrolet never gave a factory diesel, all existing were adapted as gasoline and alcohol were much more expensive than diesel at the time.
