1996 Suburban K1500 with a 5.7 Vortec.

Now that the temperature has dropped below freezing I am having a cold start issue with my '96 Burb.

It will start and run for just a second or two, then die. I tried to start it about three times and it died all three. Then I tried again and I could keep it running if I feathered the gas pedal a little. Then after about 15 seconds it would idle on it's own, but at 1,800 rpm... which it has never done before, not even last winter. After then engine is warm it will start and run fine.

The only code it has is P0161 (O2 heater circuit, bank 2 sensor 2), which shouldn't cause any starting problems.

Where should I start?

The sad thing is that my 5.0 Explorer starts just fine...
