1998 dodge dana 60 front, what side is the diff on?

I can't seem to find this info. by searching so once again I ask for your help.


I found a 1998 dodge dana 60 front for a great price but before I drive out there to look at it close I wanna know what side the diff is on???

those are junk anyhoo. no 94' and up dodge fronts are worth more than 500. also lookout for 89 and 90 fronts that have 3.07s. thats a d61.

It is a driver drop axle and it also uses link arms and not leaf springs.

...and it's got CAD, the weaker axle housing, unit bearing hubs, small inner axleshafts, and basically SUCKS.

1000HP Cummins motors don't seem to bother them much at the strip and sled pulls....

I don't mind grinding off stuff and welding up mounts but I don't want to deal with the driverside drop issue...

What is your price range. There are two chevy dana 60's on craigslist fresno. 750 is for the front with duelly hubs and anoother is 1000 for one of a single. There was a partial with 456 gearing already for 650 i think it just need rotor hub assembly.

I don't have that much cash at the moment so I was jumping up and down for the cheap one I found. I can always scratch together a few hundred for a big time smoking deal.

If you can find a SRW D60 in our area for under $900.00 you better jump all over it. All of the ones i've seen around here go anywhere from $1000.00-$1500.00 on average.
