1999 k2500 Heater control

I replaced my heater/ac control on my truck and now it doesn't blow hot air. It blows luke warm.
The old controller:
Heat blew hot but, the vent selector did not work so it just blew heat out of all the vents/defrost and the ac button was broken.

New controller:
everythings works as it should except the heat isn't hot like it should.

Any idea if the new controller I bought is bad or is there something else I should look at?

The heat worked great with the other control. I just couldn't control which vent it blew out. I can swap the controls back and forth (old/new) and the heat works with the old one.

I put a new blend door in and it didn't fix anything. I guess I'll try a new controller.
