My truck is leaking water between the firewall on the right side of the truck. I can't see exactly where its coming from so I think its the heater core. It doesn't leak allot but enough to know there is a problem.

Is this something that can be fix in a home garage with general tools or do I need to take it to a mechanic. I did the heater core on my 75 blazer but this looks to be a challenge. Any advice appreciated.

R U sure that it isn't your AC condensor with condensation from use? Or is the water actually antifreeze coolant??

when does it leak? all the time, after running the A/C, or when its raining. three different problems.

It only leaks if the air or heater is on. I was hoping that is was condensation but its coming thru the welds of the bottom of the firewall. I think I've only seen water dripping from that silver condesor unit in the past.

that's a heater core most likely, but you need to really get under it and take a look for sure, or have a good mechanic friend look at it maybe?
