Since no-one has been beating down the door to take a look at it, I'll guess that my first asking price was high. So, let's try $4200 obo.
As painful as it is for me, I don't really have a use for my monster here in the city. So, hopefully, I can find a good home for it among the fine folks who are part of CK5. Here's the info:
1972 Jimmy
350/350/205
3/4 ton axles (D44, 14ff)
Welded Rear, Open Front Axle
38" TSL's - one is brand new (less than 100 miles), the other 3 are decent, but on the back nine of their life
Stock Bucket Seats
Marine-grade radio (for when the top's down and a storm pops up)
Original AC (not working)
Tool box mounted in back
Custom front bumper, stock rear bumper
Specialty Top Soft Top (Black Denim)
Bed-linered interior (home brew, not Rhino-Liner, etc.)
Roll Bar
Approx. 68,000 miles on odometer (probably flipped once)
The body's in good shape for an East Coast vehicle. Some surface rust on door corners and a little around rear wheel wells, but it's not that bad from what I could tell.
The wheel wells have been trimmed (unfortunately). It was done well, but it just seems wrong to mess with such a good-looking fender
Everything runs strong. I've driven it on several long trips (over 200 miles one way) with no troubles.
I have one pic on this site. Other photos with close-ups of each body panel are here
Thanks,
Jim
