Anybody running a fuel cell made by The Fuel Cell Guy. He offers a 19gal or 23gal. If anybody has one how do you like it. Maybe a picture installed on a 4x4 would help me decide. I'm ready to pull the trigger on this, mostly debating the size.

That's an awesome surprise! Looks good all nice and shiny.

Did you switch from a NWMP 37 gal? Why did you choose to do that, if in fact you did?

A tank is in the future for me and I am always looking for more info to make the best choice.

Not really sure what a NWMP is, But I do believe my current tank is something like 37gal. Reason for switch is the one I have has sooo many cracks I can only run 10gals of gas before is starts leaking. I choose the 23 gal size because 37 sloshes around a lot and 23 is way more than 10. Plus I seem to slide off of the bigger tank a lot(Drags on obstacles) and with the new aluminum fuel cell the cool factor comes into play somewhere in there

I just abbreviated Northwest Metal Products (trying to be cool with the first gen nomenclature...oops!). Those are all good reasons. Mine has a big dent and I seem to get around 17gallons before running out of gas. I was concerned about the dragging because I am not planning on lifting mine very high and figured the 37 would probably do that.

Thanks for the reply SBD!

The NWMP tanks will definitely hang down pretty low. Some guys with relocated rear axles (centered in wheel well) and aftermarket diff covers have had interference issues as well.

BTDT... I was planning to install one a long time ago and was moving the mounting brackets to tuck it up into the extra space provided by my 2" body lift... But it was still uncomfortably low back there. Ultimately I sold it before ever putting a single drop of fuel into it. I would have loved that much fuel capacity, but just couldn't accept the loss of ground clearance in such a critical area.

Out with the old and in with the new.

Had some time this week so it got installed. I also buttoned up the trans replacement. Now I can finally put on my rear bumper and trailer hitch.

Nice job, man.

I'm sure that it will be nice to have more than 10 gallons for an outing.
