1st Gen Owners - Don't look if you like survivors

Not sure what you think anyone can do....

It's not like he's selling the whole truck, just those spotlights.

Sounds like a knucklehead to me.......bought the truck for a "rare" TH400???? :dunno:

yeah wtf is a "bucket buddy" 400? think someone made that up to sell it to him...

That is actually legit. The bucket seats available in '67 and '68 chevy and GMC trucks were actually a 40/20/40 split bench. The middle seat's backrest folded down to become an armrest, and you could flip the middle seat cushion up to access a metal storage box underneath. Pretty neato if you ask me. They do fetch a pretty penny to collectors.

In '69, they switched to the two separate bucket seats with the plastic console with seatbelt holders, then those became cupholders sometime in the early 70's, and is probably the most common variety.

Oh, and to resurrected_jimmy- this truck isn't a first gen. It's not really that much of a survivor, farm trucks led pretty hard lives. EDIT: doesn't help that the guy took horrible pictures, doesn't look like that great of a truck to me. yeah, its decent...but don't know why everyones getting their panties in a knot. Also, spotlights are not rare or uncommon at all, and certainly not that valuable. Neither are 327 or TH400 as previously noted. Just some dumbass who knows nothing about these trucks.

nothing to rare other than the seat, which anyone willing to shell some $$ can get a hold of, ive personally hacked a few of these, they are not worth crap down here if they are a 3/4 ton 2wd long bed, they are everywhere, I use to pick them up with a guy all the time for under 400.00, a couple running even. saw plenty of them get parted, also sent a few cabs back east with the guy.

the only ones worth much to me are the 2wd and 4wd blazers, and the short bed 4x4 or 2wd step side.

If it were a K5 it would have been a 1st gen. Its not a 1st gen pickup.
