been seriously considering swapping up to these 2 1/2 ton rockwell's only con is gonna be keeping the blaze street legal, dang! decisions, decisions /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

why do you want to run them? Cool factor alone? If not do you really need them? Compare the hassle to how bad you need them. They often come open so you need to buy and install lockers, service parts aren't just Autozone cheap stuff, if its gonna be a street legal rig I bet you will want to shorten them up a little bit. On the front this can help with the driver drop tcase as well, remove more from the passenger side tube and it pushed the pumpkin over there.

I have a friend with a 85 yota that is running 2 1/2 ton gear and 44's its freakin SICK!! but the thing is no where NEAR street legal. Plus he did ALOT of frame fabrication, its probably the biggest baddest Toyota I have ever seen in person!

Check over at usa6x6.com (in the forums) They have a few people running 2.5 ton axles over there.
