Myself, Julian (FOR MUD), and Patrick (ramjet gmc) all went wheeling at Rausch on saturday.

I cracked another distributor rotor. seems the firewall is hitting the distributor when I am beating on the truck to hard. thats an easy fix.

I also toasted my 700R4. its the original 25 year old trans so I do not feel bad.

Julian had an easy day for the most part. a little sheetmetal rearranging but thats it.

Patrick on the other hand. it started with a sheared centerpin in the driverside rear spring. no big deal. back up against a tree to realign it and crank down on the U-bolts.

My tranny went south after that so we headed back to load the truck on the trailer and Julian needed to go. I rode in the back of Patricks truck as we headed back out to catch up with another group. We got within 30-40ft of the other trucks when someone pointed out that Patricks truck was leaking ATF.

He cracked the back of the trans. it was puking fluid out pretty quickly. we rushed it back and got it on the trailer before it ran out.

I took one pic and 2 videos. hopefully someone else took more then me. I saw stickseler taking a bunch.

here is what I got. these are from trail 12.

i had a good time the park was coated in ice and i was better of in the k5 buggy then walking

well i did have 2 problems the ubolts got lose - i gess you need to check them more offten then once evey 7 years opps--- ;)

i did det over the center of the comp corse covered in ice and snow -- that was cool
and up on a hill i got a little tippy and allmost rolled in to chas on the lower part but chaZ and his copolit put a pull strap and hand pulled me and a hit the rervice hard to hit a tree so to stop the tiping and it allso pushed me back so a good down path -- it was cool -- i think stickseler -- copollit had a pucker facter going on - me to ;)

the trans i just got a nice th400 in it and was mint 10 trip on it total ? well i cracked of the back tail
at the moment i dont have a good plant to fix this th400

I'm glad someone to some Picts and videos. I was to busy bashing into trees to take any.:doah:
That was the first time I was ever out in the snow and ice. Had a blast out there. Sorry I had to leave so soon. (Sorry I missed Patrick's misfortune:D)
Good times!!!!! Now we just need to get more people out there.

I like the one were I am walking away from my truck with my fender under my arm. :doah::D

Hey chas i like the tube work! & the detachable fenders! lol. What did you endup using for your cage? I got some 3/4 ton rears for the blazer and as soon as it warms up a alil i will go put them on. N then maybe u guys will let me come along to rausch.

I was looking at those the other day? You cant beat the price but i was wondering bout the quality? You got all the pieces and welded it all together right?

I thought it was a good deal for the price. I screwed up though. I ordered it online. if I had called they would have made it out of 1-3/4" for no extra money. its 1-5/8". it adds a lot of rigidity to the body. go wheeling on the 29th and you can look at it in person.

Saturdays are bad for me i have my store open from 10-2 sundays are always the best for me.
