2/4 bolt main 350\'s

I'm starting a big project. I believe that I have come up with a way to ID 2 or 4 bolt main blocks without tearing into them, positively.

I am going to start a registry of suffix codes, with the corresponding 2 or 4 bolt usage.

The suffix code is the last 2 or 3 digits of the number found in this location http://www.dorianyeager.com/index2.html

OK Dorian...certified 4 bolt main 350. Seen em with my own eyes.
Block number as per the location asked for, the number is:
V0424UFC

Cool, thanks. Turns out to be a 1980 van, bus, a/t, Cal motor. 165hp 4bbl. 1 Ton only usage

Weird...Cal motor out of a bus 1 ton only. In a Canadian truck.

Does it fit yer suspected theory?

Well, it certainly could be that an error was made in plugging in the suffix codes, but I don't have to take the blame for that! : ) Actually, as much as vehicles get around, I don't necessarily doubt that is what it originally was. Not like it matters though for this survey, just need to know which suffix codes had 4 bolts and which 2....
