can I just use the v8 computer and tbi and just plug in the v8 sensors to the 4cyl harness?

no, the 2.5 has only one injector, if it was a 4.3 to 5.7 you could.

i guess i'll have to be carefull on removing my donor motor and the harness.

2.8's also have 2 injectors.

i just did a 4.3 vortec to 5.7 tbi motor in my blazer.
you need 2.8 frame pads. i used jtr mounts. harness was from a 91 s-10 with a 4.3. and a fullsize computer
drop the motor in pluged everything up and done. all gauges work and everything
