i have a 4 inch shackle flip in the rear of my K10. I want 6 inches of lift but want to go 56's in the back. where in the world do i get 2 inch lift 56;s? i hear skyjacker has em but i cant find em anywhere? suggestions?

Yep, Rough Country isn't the best but I'm saying if they carry it so do the other major manufacturers.

I just checked BDS, Tuff Country, and Superlift's websites and none of them list 2" lift 56" rear springs.

Ya, that is WAY high. BDS will custom build you springs too so that is an option. I know Baddog had them build him some rear spring for his truggy awhile back.

RC's if the price is right is probably the best bet. Or you could get the Deaver or Alcans like mentioned.

Another option might be 57" Ford springs.

I was running 6" TC springs in the front and stock 56's in the rear with a zero rate and longer rear shackles. This was my old set up and sat level with a K10, has since sold the set up to a buddy with a k5 (although it's gutted) and still sits level. Just an option if you don't find some reasonably priced 2" lifted 56's.

I tried to find them awhile ago. These are the only ones I found.

But at that price I'd probably go alcan or deaver. Good Luck.
You'd be looking at about $320EA for Alcan springs in the rear. So they wouldn't be that much more than those you linked.

I'd like some 2" TC springs in the 56" variety myself. :doah:

Well that's not so bad. I guess the price I had also included orbit eyes, that's the difference.

Personally, I'd hate to have the shackle hanging down there that far. I had a 4" flip with 6" shackles and the rear of the spring was about 3" below the gas tank skid plate.

Yeah, obviously I had to learn this the hard way. I mean I didn't break anything; I just didn't leave it on there long enough for that to happen.

320 for each spring is high, but the orbit eyes do cost a blue penny. My front alcans were 200 a spring with bushings out the door. I think the rear are little more but not that much more. Its still pricey for leaf springs but for DD I love them.

The difference doesn't surprise me. You could get a set of factory length front springs for $200-220 from Tough Country and rear 56" springs would be $380. Of course those prices are for a pair, but still a big difference.
