I'm going to be installing a 2" body lift in the next week or so and need to know any special details for a Blazer. I've done a few on pickups but never a Blazer. I'm not so sure on the steering part of it.......... If I remember correctly, there's something to do with a plastic sleeve or something??? I'd appreciate any tips/help on the subject. Thanks in advance.

Nothing guys? I did a search but didn't find anything. I'm no good with searches on forums sometimes.

I have a 2" on my burb I installed over 15 yrs ago. If I remember correctly I had to extend my steering shaft a little by melting the plastic bushing. the fan shroud will not fit right either. The gas filler will need some adjusting as well as the bumper brackets. The transfercase shifted will leak air around the rubber gases. That's all I can think of right now. Good luck!

paste and copy this list to add to it :waytogo:

Transfercase linkage (depending on Tcase) will need adjustment
Transmission linkage from column needs adjustment
Steering shaft needs extending (good time for an XJ shaft)
All wiring to the frame needs to be checked (ie: tail light harnesses)
Fan shroud will need spacer between two halves
Possible driveline breathers will need extending
Blazer tailgate springs-to-bumper need checking
Gas filler hose should be unbolted and then checked before bolting back up
E-brake cable going into cab should be checked
Brakeline coils near master cylinder need to be "unwound" a little to be extended to the frame
